Story
I am aiming to raise money for Variety, the Childrens Charity, in the first Santa Fun Run and I would welcome any contribution, great or small, that you could make!
My family has been involved with the Variety Club of Victoria for many years, starting out with my husband Mick going on the "Bash" as an entrant, we have also gone on the "Brats Bash" 3 years in a row. Last year I joined Mick being an "Official" on the Bash that went to Alice Springs and next year we head off to Margaret River WA across the Nullabor.
The Variety Club has shown me many sides of how such generous people contribute to this cause I have seen first hand just exactly who get the funds and believe me they are well and truly deserved.

Variety Victoria
Children growing up with disability, serious illness or disadvantage need help from a special charity.
That charity is Variety.
Variety works with individual families and organisations to deliver three core programs that help children with special needs to live, laugh and learn.
Our Freedom Program provides mobility equipment, such as wheelchairs, bikes, walkers, Liberty Swings and Sunshine Coaches so children can get out and about.
Our Caring for Kids Program provides essential medical equipment to help parents care for their seriously ill child at home and in hospital.
Our Future Kids Program provides children with intellectual or physical disabilities the equipment to assist with learning difficulties.
With no government funding it is through the generosity of the community that enables Variety to impact the lives of 25,000 Victorian children a year.
Variety is a national and worldwide charity that first began in Australia in 1975. To date we have delivered more than $180 million to help Australia’s sick, disadvantaged and special needs children to live, laugh and learn.
